BEFORE THE DAWN

After almost a decade of absence, BEFORE THE DAWN continues their story stronger than ever. 

Led by multi-instrumentalist Tuomas Saukkonen, the band made a long-awaited return to both publishing and show fronts with the 2023 “Stormbringers” album. 

New winds are brought to the music by Paavo Laapotti, who has been recruited as a singer and has convincingly stepped into the shoes of the Before The Dawn frontman. The acclaimed comeback album was followed in the spring of 2024 by the four-song

"Archaic Flame" EP, whose melancholic metal music has captured both old and new audiences - and there is no end in sight to the band's story.

The band's latest full-length album, "Cold Flare Eternal", was released on September 5, 2025, with which the band heads out to tour both in Finland and Europe.

 

Melkein vuosikymmenen kadotuksen jälkeen paluun tehnyt BEFORE THE DAWN jatkaa tarinaansa kovempana kuin koskaan.

Multi-instrumentalisti Tuomas Saukkosen johtama yhtye teki vuoden 2023 Stormbringers-albumin myötä pitkään kaivatun paluun niin julkaisu- kuin keikkarintamalle. Uusia tuulia musiikkiin tuo laulajaksi värvätty, vakuuttavasti Before The Dawn -keulamiehen saappaisiin astunut Paavo Laapotti. Kehuttu paluulevy sai jo vuoden 2024 keväällä seuraajakseen neljän kappaleen "Archaic Flame" -EP:n, jonka melankolinen metallimusiikki on ottanut niin vanhan kuin uudenkin yleisön omakseen - eikä loppua yhtyeen tarinalle ole näkyvissä. 

Yhtyeen tuorein pitkäsoitto “Cold Flare Eternal”, julkaistiin 5.9.2025, jonka myötä yhtye suuntaa seuraavaksi sekä duomen - että euroopan kiertueille.​
